In 2016, Liane Lippert was crowned European junior champion, just six years after winning her first bike race.
Fast forward two years later, she is German champion and mixing it with the best riders in the world, in some of the most prestigious races in the women’s calendar.
And as she continues her alarmingly fast development, also counting a win at the Lotto Belgium Tour in her impressive palmares, Liane believes she is in the best place possible to achieve her dreams and become more experienced.
Off the bike, Liane is a normal 21-year-old, who enjoys being with friends, going out for dinner and spending time away from the sport to relax. As ambitious and hard-working as she is on the bike, she is happy and relaxed off it, while teammates would undoubtedly find the young German funny. And take a look at her Instagram stories to see that – “Yes, I really like to sing” she laughed. “Especially in the car!”
