Lennard Kämna puts in a good TT at Tirreno Adriatico

Lennard Kämna finishes the Tirreno Adriatico individual time trial in 21st place, as the race came to an end on the Adriatic coast.

The final stage of Tirreno Adriatico got underway with a 10 kilometre time trial along the waterfront of San Benedetto del Tronto on Italy’s Adriatic coast. First off the ramp for Team Sunweb was Chad Haga, who finished the day with a time of 11 minutes and 48 seconds. Lennard Kämna was Team Sunweb’s last man to the start line, and a solid ride saw him power through the course to stop the clock at 11 minutes and 39 seconds. After provisionally placing 4th, he went on to finish the day in 21stth place.


After the race Lennard said: “I did my best and tried to give everything, I think I can be pleased with the time, and I can be satisfied with the outcome. I can now look ahead to my next race at Milano-Sanremo.”
