Team Sunweb’s Lennard Kämna finishes 15th at the Tour of Denmark’s TT today, with stagiaire Cees Bol taking an identical time and placing 16th.
Team Sunweb’s Lennard Kämna put in a solid TT in Denmark today, his first race back after a period out of racing. Coming through the first time check in 15th place at 7 minutes and 19 seconds, the young German continued to power his way through the course, keeping his speed consistent as he hit the second check still in 15th position. A strong TT also saw Cees Bol power from 17th at the first check to 16th as he crossed the line.
Lennard said: “I am really satisfied with my performance today. I had long break from the bike and I feel like the legs are getting better almost everyday, so I am feeling optimistic about the next weeks.”
Team Sunweb coach Morten Bennekou said: “Today we had a 19.1 kilometre flat TT. Lennard put in a great ride to 15th which is a solid result after a period out from racing. Cees also put in a strong ride to take 16th, and Nils managed to take a top 20 in 19th place. Overall it was a good day and good experience for us in the TT.”
