Team Liv-Plantur will line up this Saturday for the 10th edition of La Route de France. The week of racing typically offers plenty of sprints and break opportunities. This year will comprise nine stages through north-east France, including a prologue and an individual time trial covering almost 900km of riding.
Coach Hans Timmermans (NED) said ahead of the race: “La Route de France is an open race with chances for both sprints and breakaways and we have a strong team for both eventualities. We expect a challenging week but it should be a very exciting one.
“With Floortje we have one of the fastest riders and it is an important step in her development to be a leader in such a stage race. Then with Rozanne, Carlee and Molly who are good climbers, we will aim for stage results in the hillier stages.”
